Bandai Namco Games has announced that the Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball FighterZ is getting an Open Beta later this summer.

The teaser will go live in August, although an exact date and time have yet to be revealed.

However, the publishing powerhouse did confirm a few interesting details on the Switch version, namely the inclusion of 2v2 and 1v1 matches, plus the addition of an offline six-player Party Match mode. The existing versions of the game only includes 3v3, so this is a nice bonus.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be released for Switch on September 28, and launched on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One back in January.

We thought it packed a pretty mean punch in our review, so it's definitely worth getting excited about the impending Switch version.

We're also glad to announce that the Nintendo Switch Open Beta test for Dragon Ball FighterZ is scheduled to start in August. The game will be released on September 28th with new local multiplayer features:
