FIFA 12 doesn’t hit stores until September 30, but EA has announced that a digital version will be available to download on Xbox 360 from 5pm BST.

In order to access the download you’ll need to have purchased an EA Sports Season Ticket (2100 MS Points). You can then play the full version of FIFA 12 until the game’s release on September 30, at which time the retail disc version will be required to continue playing.

EA Sports Season Ticket subscribers will also be able to exclusively play the very first in-game EA Sports Football Club Challenge – take control of Chelsea during their recent match against Manchester United and attempt to rewrite history. The challenge: Come back from 3-1 down to record at least a draw. This challenge will only be available until the game’s retail launch.

Season Ticket holders also receive a 20 per cent discount on all DLC for FIFA 12 and a range of other EA Sports games – including FIFA 12 Ultimate Team.

In Europe EA Sports Season Ticket is only available on Xbox 360.

Look out for our FIFA 12 review very soon.
