UPDATE: Microsoft has since confirmed that Xbox One has been delayed until 2014 across parts of Europe. The console will now not release in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland until early next year.

ORIGINAL STORY: Don’t believe the Xbox One delayed reports appearing online, Aaron Greenberg, chief of staff for Devices and Studios Group at Microsoft, has said.

Earlier today Game Reactor reported that the Xbox One will miss its planned November launch and instead hit stores in Q1 2014.

However, Greenberg has Tweeted to indicate this isn’t the case.

“Ha, don’t believe everything you read!” reads the Tweet.

He added, “We will share more details at Gamescom,” suggesting a firm release date may be revealed at the German games show next week.
