Playlogic Entertainment and Metropolis Software have announced that ‘Diabolique: License to sin’ has been renamed ‘INFERNAL’ and will arrive on PC DVD-ROM in the last quarter of 2006. Set in the present day, the story revolves around a conflict between good and evil and supernatural intelligence agencies.

To enable the game to use state of the art physics it uses the Ageia PhysX engine, and the use of the latest technologies such as PS 3.0, normal mapping and real-time reflections apparently makes the game world stunningly realistic.

INFERNAL will be shown at E3 in May, so expect more on the game in a few weeks.
