Blizzard Entertainment has detailed when players will be able to get their first hands on remaster Diablo: II Resurrected in the game’s open beta later this month.

Those who have pre-ordered the game will, naturally, get first dibs in the Early Access portion of the test. That’ll kick off from August 13 at 6pm UK time. Then, between August 20 and August 23 anyone else will be able to get their hands on some demon-slaying action, again from 6pm UK time.

The beta will include the three classes that were available during the game’s Alpha Test earlier in the year. Joining the Sorceress, the Barbarian and the Amazon will be two new classes in the form of the Druid and Paladin. Both weekends will include the entirety of the first two acts of the game, including the remade cutscenes. Both beta weekends will also support multiplayer with up to eight players. There’ll also be cross-progression across consoles and PC.

Diablo II: Resurrected will see the now-iconic 2000’s hack and slash given a modern makeover. It’s expected to launch on September 23 and will even support saves from the original version on PC. The game and beta will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. You can also check out an FAQ for the beta on the game’s official website.
