You can usually spot demons in Diablo 4 pretty easily but sometimes they’re not so easy to spot. Sometimes, they might even be the player right next to you. What makes them as bad as a demon you might ask. If you’re a player going purposely out of your way to slaughter the wildlife of Sanctuary despite it giving you no in-game advantage, then we have to assume you’re beyond saving. However, there are some Diablo 4 players that have noted feeling bad upon accidentally killing the wildlife in the game.

Taking to the Diablo 4 Reddit, one player said that while they understand they’re not real animals they still “feel bad when a fox or deer or any other animal gets caught up in an attack while fighting mobs.” Other players were quick to sympathise as one user noted that they, “frost nova’d 18 demons at the same time and likely saved countless lives in the future by doing so but a camel that was 9 feet away fell over and died. I uninstalled the game. Lilith can have this s**thole.”

Alongside this, another player said they actively worry about using the Druid’s hurricane ability because they fear for the surrounding wildlife. They said, “To be honest: I kind of get a bad feeling as a druid when I activate hurricane. Those deers and snakes….”

With all this talk of players feeling bad for slaughtering the poor wildlife, one player was quick to note that they felt bad for killing all animals except for the cows. The player seems to believe they’re “hiding something.” This might be true though as Diablo 4 players are still hunting for the elusive cow level despite the devs denying it exists.
