A sneaky Diablo 4 secret update finally allows Blight Necromancer players to see their screens while in combat. Ever since the game’s initial launch, the popular Blighted Corpse Explosion skill quickly became both popular and notorious because of a few different causes.
Naturally, one of the reasons as to why it became a fan-favorite ability was due to the fact that it was an AoE talent that could cause damage over time. Most players frequently opted for this upgrade as it was more useful than the exploding damage that the regular skill brought to the table and it also often synergized with a ton of the best Necromancer builds.
Unfortunately, the main problem with the Blighted Corpse Explosion was that, when used, it would always cover a player’s screen with a pitch-black miasma that wouldn’t allow you or any of the players around you to see what was happening. This meant that you would have to randomly press your skills in the hopes that it would connect with an enemy while the thick, dark fog of the blight continued to fester all around your character.
Luckily, with the changes now in place, you’ll finally be able to see where everything is including the enemies that are running at you and the corpses they leave behind once you demolish them. With the Necromancer being one of the most popular in-game classes, player reaction has largely been positive as soon as this change was discovered.
However, these aren’t the only enhancements that have been provided as part of the secret update as a few other useful improvements have also been made. According to a Reddit user named mynameisntwill, some of the other changes include the Barbarian’s Steel Grasp skill now working correctly, a new tornado Helltide event, the Chest icon for the stash now being open instead of closed, and the removal of the solo Nightmare Dungeon reset exploit.
Now, before you hop back in to explore these changes, we suggest taking a look at all Diablo 4 mystery chest locations, how to get Black River, and how to socket gems so you can have an easier time clearing the game’s content.
