The grind doesn’t stop in Diablo 4, and, in the case of Season 5, that’s especially true with its refreshed reputation system. Aside from providing several valuable caches filled with equipment, materials, and the all-important Resplendent Spark, it also has an “infinitely repeatable” reward you can farm for and continuously claim once you’ve unlocked all the previous goodies.

As discovered by Reddit user MaxHardwood, your progression won’t stop once you reach the end of the Mother’s Gift reputation reward table. Instead, you’ll be able to unlock a Triune War Chest containing various “powerful items” and crafting resources, likely including gems, summoning materials, and weapons and armor. Although most of the equipment you’ll likely get will be Legendary, you may also get the occasional Unique item hiding in a random cache or two.

Of course, before you can collect this valuable cache, you’ll need to do a bit of grinding first; each Triune War Chest requires you to amass 24,000 units of The Mother’s Gift, the seasonal XP. But since the amount you’re given with each Elite enemy or boss you slay in Strongholds and Helltides is fairly generous, it shouldn’t take you long at all to collect several of these chests.

Now, pair this new mechanic with the never-ending rewards that Infernal Hordes provides, and you get a wave of positive reactions from players, praising the developers for building upon the previous season’s success, Loot Reborn. And even though Season 5 is running relatively short with the Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred DLC release date coming soon, the latest update is still giving the community plenty of content to burn through in the meantime.
