Diablo III has now sold over 10 million units worldwide, according to sales data revealed during the Activision Blizzard Q2 financial report – reported by Seeking Alpha.
Diablo III sales include copies included in the 1.2 million World of Warcraft Annual Passes sold. The game shattered PC game sales records, becoming the fastest selling PC game ever.
The success of Diablo III helped Q2 2012 become Blizzard’s best quarter ever from both a revenue and a profit standpoint.
Blizzard also revealed that in the past month, 16.9 million players logged into Battle.net to play Diablo III, StarCraft II or World of Warcraft.
