Capcom's Devil May Cry 5 will be released before the end of March 2019, the publisher's investors branch has confirmed.

The adrenaline-pumping, demon-slicing actioner was announced at E3 last week, although at the time we only had a vague spring 2019 window. So, this narrows it down a little bit.

This also ties in with what Capcom had previously confirmed before E3, revealing it would launch two major titles by the end of their current fiscal year, which wraps March 31, 2019.

We already know the identity of the other game (Resident Evil 2 Remake, which is out January 25), so Devil May Cry 5 is obviously the second title. Unless there's a Dino Crisis reboot secretly coming, that is.

Devil May Cry 5 features three playable characters, two of which have already been confirmed as Nero and Dante. The other one is probably Vergil, although that's wishful thinking on my part. The game is currently in development for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
