Capcom has revealed in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine (via wccftech) that Devil May Cry 5 is around 75% complete, which is pretty good knews considering the game is due out by the end of next March.

In terms of story, the game's villain will apparently be stronger than anything Dante and Nero have ever faced, so expect an epic ruck come end game. Something 'mysterious' has also been happening in the demon world, whatever that means.

Meanwhile, silver-haired hero Nero is on the hunt for something he's lost, and while it's not specified in the magazine, we presume it's not a fiver or a bus pass. It's probably something to do with that magical arm or maybe his significant other, Kyrie.

In addition, more info on Devil May Cry 5 is expected to drop later this summer, which ties in with the fact it's going to be playable at Gamescom.

Devil May Cry 5 is due for release on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One early next year. It features three playable characters, although only Dante and Nero have been revealed so far.

Fingers crossed Vergil's the other, eh?
