Destroy All Humans! 2—Reprobed, the upcoming remake from Black Forest Games, is out on August 30th.

THQ Nordic made the announcement today, with the release of a new trailer:

The description reads:

“It’s probin’ time! Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed is coming August 30, 2022. Pre-order now and get the Destroy All Humans! stand-alone multiplayer Clone Carnage for free and start playing today!”

This Clone Carnage is a co-op expansion, which can be bought as separate, standalone D.L.C. It apparently features four modes, six maps and up to four-player multiplayer. And that includes split-sccreen, delightfully.

Black Forest Games is the studio that remade the first game in the series. The remake was, for the most part, a bright and funny open-world action game. In VideoGamer’s review of the game, I said:

“I would recommend the remake to anyone with a nostalgic thirst for the original, but so, too, to those that like their laughs with a dark bite.”

The sequel saw Crypto heading to three new cities: London, Tokyo, and San Francisco. And it made the hope from the nineteen-fifties to the sixties, with hippies and drugs and all sorts.

The new game is scheduled for release on August 30th, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
