Destiny 2: Xur’s location and gear for this weekend, December 1

Here we are once again folks, with your weekly update on ol’Tentacle-Tash’s location and details on his wares for this week. It’s worth noting that he may be around a few hours longer as from this week, weekly resets are to be moving to the later time of 5pm UK time on Tuesdays, although as Trials of Osiris is due out that day, there’s the possibility things may be a bit more malleable. 

Anyway, this week Xur’s back on the EDZ near the Winding Cove landing zone – as always, check your map if you’re struggling – through the cave and behind the downed shuttle.

This week’s weapon is the Sweet Business auto-rifle. It features an extra large magazine and increased hip fire accuracy to go with the nifty feature of boosting the rate of fire and range if you hold down the trigger as well as automatically loading ammo pickups into the magazine. It’ll cost you 29 Legendary Shards.

In armour, the Lucky Raspberry chest armour is on offer for Hunters, with a Probability Matrix that increases the capabilities of Arc Grenades and offering them a chance to to recharge when it deals damage. The Titans get the Synthoceps gauntlets which offer increased melee range and improved melee damage when surrounded as well as improving reload speed for equipped Kinetic weapons.  

Finally Warlocks can get their hands on the Skull of Dire Ahamkara featuring the Actual Grandeur perk providing additional damage resistance when deploying your Nova Bomb super, and successful kills with the skill granting Super energy. All three armour pieces will set you back 23 Legendary Shards.

As is always the case, all of Xur’s items will scale to your power level if you’re below 20 and max out at 270 should you be beyond that cap. 

It’s worth noting that Xur will be getting an update to his inventories soon as mentioned in the State of Destiny 2 address earlier in the week, as he’ll soon also be offering new Fated Engrams that grant you a guaranteed Exotic you don’t already own, alongside the Three of Coins consumable. You’ll also be able to spend Legendary Shards with other vendors too, these changes come into effect in two weeks time, December 12.
