Destiny 2 gives its players plenty of rewards through the various quests and tasks that can be completed throughout the game. Additionally, this FPS title also has seasonal limited-time events that provide even greater loot for those willing to participate in them.

The Dawning, Destiny 2’s annual winter event, has always brought a plethora of interesting new features to Bungie’s entry. Now that it’s finally here, players both new and old are wondering what this festive occasion has in store for them. Look no further because we’re here to let you know what you can expect with this year’s iteration of its winter celebration.

What to Expect in The Dawning Event in Destiny 2?

The Dawning gives players the chance to earn themed rewards by completing a number of quests from Eva Levante, the event vendor. Most of the objectives you’ll be tasked with include completing bounties, accomplishing event card challenges, and baking sweet treats for some of the NPCs found throughout the game.

By completing these objectives and challenges, you’ll be able to acquire Dawning Spirit which you can exchange for various upgrades and rewards. Some of the weapons you can earn throughout the event include the Stay Frosty Pulse Rifle, the Avalanche Machine Gun, and the Zephyr Sword among others.

According to the Bungie help page, hose who missed out on last year’s Dawning rewards will also have the chance to purchase two Exotic Dawning Sparrows and two Exotic Dawning Ships. These include the Starfarer 7M, the Dawning Cheer, the Alpine Dash, and the Vapoorwill Spin.

The Dawning 2022 has already begun and will last until the Weekly Reset on January 3 so join in on the festivities while you still can.
