Destiny 2: Forsaken developer Bungie has confirmed that it won't be outfitting the Last Wish raid with a multiple difficulty settings, such as the ultra-tough Prestige option.

Speaking in a post on its blog, the former Halo developer revealed a host of new changes for the shared-world shooter, including buffing the spawn rate for the Ascendant Primeval Servitor, which is now part of the curse cycle on the Dreaming City.

Bungie has also been tinkering with the Sleeper Simulant, which has been dominating the new Gambit mode since its inception at the beginning of September. Heavy Ammo now coughs up two shots for the weapon instead of four, limiting its capabilities somewhat.

So, why no Prestige difficulty for the Last Wish raid?

'Right about now, you might be wondering when another version of the raid will rear its ugly head full of eyes and teeth,' said the studio. 'With the goals to create a more varied and rewarding experience across the endgame of Destiny laid out before us, we had to make a series of difficult choices. One of these choices was that we would not be creating multiple difficulties of Last Wish.'

Destiny 2: Forsaken is out now on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The Last Wish was beaten first by Clan Redeem, who smashed the mission in just over 18 hours.
