Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen will feature in Hideo Kojima’s upcoming game Death Stranding alongside Norman Reedus, it’s been revealed – as will Pacific Rim director Guillermo del Toro, it seems.

The two new cast members were revealed in a new trailer released last night, which appears to show del Toro’s character cradling a piece of equipment holding a baby, as he evades soldiers patrolling a bridge overhead.

Mads Mikkelsen’s character, meanwhile, appears to be some sort of military leader, equipped with tendrils that attach to skeleton soldiers under his command. It’s all a little bit mysterious, so you’re best off just checking out the trailer for yourself.

The trailer is running in real time on PS4 Pro, too, with the game due to be a PS4 exclusive at launch before arriving later on PC.

A release date has yet to be announced.
