Koei Tecmo has revealed the first screenshots of Dead or Alive Xtreme 3, the next entry in the volleyball spin-off series heading to PS4 and PS Vita.

While the game is still only confirmed for release in Asia, Team Ninja says that it’s also gauging interest for an international release, and could release an “edited” version for Western audiences should there be enough demand.

“As a fighting game, there are a great deal of fans overseas, but for the Xtreme series, domestic fans make up an overwhelming majority,” producer Yosuke Hayashi is reported to have said in an interview with Famitsu (via Kotaku). “So, after much deliberation, we’ve decided to release the game only in Japan and other Asian territories. However, if there is enough interest, we may develop an international version that has been edited for Western audiences.”

It isn’t yet clear how the game will differ across PS4 and PS Vita either, although the two versions will feature different subtitles. On PS4, the game is called Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune, while on PS Vita it’ll be known as Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Venus.

A release date for either version has yet to be announced.
