Team Ninja has warned Dead or Alive 5: Last Round players not to play certain lessons in the game’s Tutorial mode while playing in French, German, Spanish or Italian over concerns that it could corrupt save data.

The bug affects all platforms while playing Tutorial lessons 40.8 and 40.9, and can lead to the game crashing and save data being wiped.

“WARNING: DOA5 Last Round players (All platforms). Please DON’T play Tutorial Mode Lesson 40.8 and 40.9

with German, Spanish, French, Italian,” the developer said on Twitter. “We confirmed the game crash & makes your save data corrupted.

“We can’t apologize enough for this and try to fix it ASAP.”

The tutorial bug is the second major issue acknowledged by Team Ninja following the game’s launch.

Last week, the developer told VideoGamer.com that it was also investigating an issue with the Xbox One version of Dead or Alive 5: Last Round that was causing the game to crash.

“We’ve been investigating the issue reported at this moment and we are working closely with both 1st party platforms,” the developer said. “We will let you know as soon as we have any updates. We apologies for any inconvenience players might have experienced.”

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round launched last Friday on PS4, Xbox One and Xbox 360. A PS3 release is due to follow this Friday, with a PC version launching next month.
