Prominent Dead By Daylight leaks source “Thanos’d by BHVR” ahead of imminent FNAF reveal

May 2025 is a huge month for Dead By Daylight. Not only do we have the imminent release of new survivor, Orela Rose, but we also have the upcoming anniversary livestream which will reveal details about the DBD FNAF Chapter. Other chapters have leaked in the past, but BeHaviour are making sure nothing comes out about Five Nights At Freddy’s as they have “Thanos’d” the most prominent source for Dead By Daylight leaks.

The LeaksDBD community on Reddit were warned about posting leaks mid-April due to BeHaviour Interactive going on an “insane copyright strike spree against all the leak posts on [the] sub”. This was the first notification that BeHaviour were clamping down on leaks, but now something big has happened.

As shared GOREJ1RA on X, the huge DBDLeaks Discord got “Thanos’d by BHVR”. The post is accompanied by a screenshot which says, “the DBDLeaks Discord has officially been taken down by BHVR”.

It’s not known what, if anything, was recently posted to cause the copyright strike, but, as of writing on May 5th, the Discord is still not back online.

In addition to the removal of DBDLeaks, Dvveet shared that BeHaviour has also “taken down DBD-info,” and “did a pass through of takedowns on Twitter & Reddit”. Again, there’s no mention of what was removed and/or resulted in the takedowns.

It’s unknown if this clamp down on leaks will become the norm, but it appears that BeHaviour are determined to not let anything about Five Nights At Freddy’s get spoiled before the big reveal. This big reveal is set for the PAX EAST 2025 anniversary livestream at 8AM PT/11AM ET/4PM BST on May 9th.

Seeing as it’s the big anniversary livestream, it’s possible BeHaviour wish to avoid leaks for other huge revelations beyond just FNAF that are a complete secret. We’re very much looking forward to the anniversary livestream, and we cannot wait to presumably find out the Five Nights At Freddy’s killer and survivor.
