Dead by Daylight May 2025 roadmap – FNAF PTB release, anniversary livestream, 2v8 return, new skins and more

Dead By Daylight has had an excellent 2025 so far. Just recently, there has been the release of Orela Rose as a new survivor, and in June there will be the long-awaited release of the Five Nights At Freddy’s Chapter. However, before June arrives, there will be plenty for DBD fans to enjoy in May. Here is the Dead By Daylight May 2025 roadmap including the FNAF PTB, return of 2v8, a bunch of new skins, and more.

BeHaviour Interactive is conducting their yearly anniversary livestream, and this time it is confirmed to be happening at PAX EAST. The yearly anniversary livestreams are always exciting, but this yearly is arguably the most anticipated as it is when the developer will officially lift the curtain on what awaits in the Five Nights At Freddy’s chapter.

All of the new skin collections have been confirmed by BeHaviour and are available to view on the Dead By Daylight latest collections webpage.

The return of 2v8 mode is exciting, and this time it will introduce two new killers: The Ghost Face and The Oni. BeHaviour has also stated that there will be “no bots” for lobbies. It will only be around for a shorter period of time than its previous iterations, but it should be fun while it lasts.

FNAF PTB is expected to happen on May 27th with a full release on June 17th, as per dvveet. The public-test build will be an opportunity for players on Steam to play the Chapter early before the full release arrives on all other platforms.
