Sony Interactive Enterainment Europe has announced the charts for the previous month's sales on the PlayStation Store, and post-apocalyptic zombie game Days Gone has bagged the number one spot.

The number two position was, once again, taken by Grand Theft Auto V but surprisngly the excellent Mortal Kombat 11 only managed fourth, beaten by the release of movie tie in World War Z at number 3. It certainly seems like zombie games are still proving a popular subject.

The rest of the top 10 was largely dictated by sales over the last month, with The Crew 2, Far Cry 5 and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege all featuring after being a part of a recent Ubisoft sale, and Borderlands Game of the Year Edition's release ahead of the third game's announcement managed a respectable 9th place. Here's the top 10 in full:

  1. Days Gone
  2. Grand Theft Auto V
  3. World War Z
  4. Mortal Kombat 11
  5. The Crew 2
  6. Far Cry 5
  7. FIFA 19
  8. Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition
