Days Gone will receive a free update next week that includes a New Game Plus mode, as announced in a post on the PlayStation blog

The New Game Plus mode is available for any save that has completed the I'm Never Giving Up storyline, and will take previously earned weapons, bike upgrades, Nero boosters, skills, recipes, encampment trust and credits, collectibles, and Trophy progress into the new adventure. These will undoubtedly come in useful for the two new difficulty modes arriving in the main game and New Game Plus: Hard II and Survival II. In addition, new Trophies to New Game Plus, Hard II, and Survival II modes will crop up, along with a new weapon ‘from an agent that only operates in the shadows.’

Sounds like the perfect time to get that motor running and ride into the wastes of Oregon again. Josh enjoyed the pulpy thrills of Days Gone, and that’s including the story and the squish of a zombie under the wheels.
