Darksiders 2 will include an arena mode called The Crucible, which features 100 levels for players to fight through.
Players will take on waves of enemies using all of the combat skills you learn in the game. New levels are unlocked as you progress through the main campaign.
After every five waves, players can either receive a reward, or opt to fight another five rounds of increasingly challenging enemies.

Darksiders 2 is due for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC next week, with a Wii U version due later this year.
