CD Projekt Red has revealed that development of Cyberpunk 2077 has now reached a point where the game is playable from start to finish.

Cool your jets if you think it's almost done though; rather, the story is now in place, but there's still a ton of bug fixing and playtesting to be done. Still, it's a milestone worth celebrating, especially as we have no idea when the game will be out.

'It gives you the answers to all of your doubts,' producer Richard Borzymowski told Engadget. 'It just feels great.'

Cyberpunk 2077 emerged from a lengthy hiatus at this year's E3, where CD Project Red confirmed it'll take the form of a first-person RPG and won't feature any loading times. There's also flying cars too, which is good to know.

There's no release date yet for Cyberpunk 2077, although we know it's targeting current-generation consoles. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if it also made the jump to PS5 and NextBox.
