Cyberpunk 2077 features flying cars, because it wouldn't be Cyberpunk without them, innit?
So, that's good to know. However, you won't actually be able to control these vehicles; you'll be using regular cars, bikes, and good old-fashioned boots on the ground for getting about the game's lush, sci-fi open-world.
'You won’t be able to control flying cars but they will be used for missions for crucial things,' Cyberpunk 2077's level designer, Max Pears, told Metro at E3. He then added that 'the main way to get through will be on foot, cars, and bikes.'
Pears didn't clarify what he meant by using flying cars during missions, though presumably it means we can ride shotgun in them while helping out an AI partner, or something along those lines.
Yesterday it was revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 won't feature any loading screens after the game has been booted up for the first time, which is handy to know.
Cyberpunk 2077 is in development for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One, though a release date has yet to be confirmed.
