Crytek has confirmed that the PC version of Crysis 2 will receive a DirectX 11 patch.
“We would like to announce that there will be a DX11 patch released for Crysis 2,” posted Crytek community manager Cry-Tom on MyCrysis. “We are working to get the best out of DX11, so we’ll wait to announce the features until a little closer to release.”
No details on what the patch will bring in terms of performance or visual enhancements have been revealed.
We awarded Crysis 2 an impressive 9/10 on its release last month.
