Paradox Interactive has announced the console version of grand strategy Crusader Kings III will arrive on March 29, 2022.

As originally announced back in August, the formerly PC exclusive’s had a control overhaul for the current-gen consoles, including specific features that take advantage of the hardware. This includes an all-new control map that lets you interact with the game menus via the triggers and sticks. There’s also the super fast load times from each console’s respective SSDs and more.

There’s even features that are specific to each console. Xbox Series X|S owners will be able to consult  tip videos on YouTube thanks to Quick Resume. PlayStation 5 owners, meanwhile, will be able to enjoy Haptic and Adaptive Trigger feedback on the DualSense controllers. An example includes the triggers offering more resistance depending on how stressed your character is.

That’s all in addition to the main features of Crusader Kings III, including playing as a range of noble houses over five centuries. You’ll have to deal with spymasters, stubborn children and holy men. Commune with religious leaders, perform great crimes on behalf of the state or wage war. It’s up to you how you run your kingdom. You can even establish a whole religion, if you fancy.
