They disclosed the details regarding this upcoming entry in a blog post published on their official website. In it, they stated that it would be playable on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Unfortunately, a specific release date is yet to be given out so players looking forward to it will have to wait until more information is disclosed.

Developed by Toys for Bob, this upcoming entry will be a team-based experience that will have players hunting for the famed Wumpa fruit. According to the details provided, “Rumbles will take place across wild and varied arenas in 4v4 online multiplayer action.” Groups will then be tasked with collecting the apple-like fruit and bringing it back to their team’s bank.

Each character featured in the game such as Crash, Coco, and Dingodile will also each have their own unique skills. These can be used to prevent opposing players from bringing back fruits to their bank safely. Some abilities can also be utilized to protect your own bank or to just outright battle the other team.

Based on images available on the website, the iconic boxes present in previous titles will also be included in matches. These can most likely give players a jump boost and possibly contains fruit as well.

The game will also feature cross-platform play so you’ll be able to party up with your friends on either Xbox or PlayStation. It’s important to note, though, that it currently doesn’t list Windows or Nintendo systems as part of its launch plans. It may be released on these platforms at a later date, though, much like Crash Bandicoot 4.
