Activision has bumped Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy's release date forward by 12 days on PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

The crate-bashing marsupial's celebrated platforming bundle was originally due out on July 10, but will now arrive in stores on June 29. That's almost exactly one year to the day since the compilation was released on PlayStation 4.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy was a massive success on Sony's latest telly box, topping the charts for a number of weeks and going on to sell over 2.5 million copies by September 2017. The package remasters the first three PlayStation games in the series, namely Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped.

Sony's format mascot isn't the only one getting a revival, though. Developer Toys for Bob is revamping Spyro the Dragon for modern consoles later this year in celebration of the plucky fire-breather's 20th anniversary.

Spyro Ignited Trilogy will be released on PS4, PC, Xbox One, and Switch on September 21.
