Activision has announced that its nostalgia-fuelled platform bundle Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy is coming to PC, Xbox One, and Switch this summer.

Developed by Vicarious Visions, the compilation was previously released on the PS4 last year, although back then it was thought it would remain exclusive to Sony’s console. As time went on however, we started to hear murmurs about a jump to multiplatform territory, and that is indeed now the case.

Nintendo confirmed a Switch version is the pipeline overnight during its Direct broadcast, with Activision quickly following up on Twitter with news that it’s also coming to PC and Xbox One. Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy launches for those platforms on July 10.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy was a massive success on PS4, selling over 2.5 million copies worldwide by September last year. The game includes fully remade versions of the PlayStation classics Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.

Activision reportedly has a five-year plan in place for the crate-bashing marsupial, which includes a brand new Crash Bandicoot game in 2019. If true, then this will be the first proper game in the series since 2008.
