Conan, a game based on the character created by Robert E. Howard, had originally been intended for release on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2008, but following a release date shake up found itself inline for an October release. THQ obviously didn’t think this was soon enough today having revealed that it’ll now be available on September 28.

Joining Conan on September 28 is the follow-up/expansion to Company of Heroes, Opposing Fronts. The standalone expansion will run on an enhanced version of the Essence Engine with support for DirectX 10. Players will be treated to two new campaigns which will see the British 2nd Army freeing Caen, France and the German Panzer Elite fighting off an air attack in Operation Market Garden.
