C&C 3 will feature high definition video sequences – not just any old video sequences mind, but ones staring a line-up of film and TV celebrities. Together the cast has appeared in hit shows such as Lost and Battlestar Galactica, plus major Hollywood films such as Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi, Top Gun, Starship Troopers, and The Wedding Crashers.

I’m afraid the actors don’t ring the same bells as the projects they’ve appeared in, but here they are for those interested: Tricia Helfer (Number Six from BSG), Josh Holloway (Sawyer in Lost), Michael Ironside (the voice of Sam Fisher), Billy Dee Williams (Lando Calrissian from Star Wars), Grace Park (Boomer from BSG), Ivana Bozilovic, Shauntay Hinton (a former Miss USA), and more.

The game will also feature real-life news reporters assuming the roles of news anchors in the game. These roles are played by John Huck, anchor of the FOX affiliate in Las Vegas and Shanon Cook, freelance reporter for a major news network. Fans will also be pleased to hear that Joe Kucan who played Kane, leader of the Brotherhood of Nod in the C&C series, reprises his role in C&C 3.

Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars is scheduled to arrive in 2007.
