Codemasters is considering updating last month’s F1 2016 to take advantage of PS4 Pro, the publisher has told VideoGamer.com.

Speaking to me earlier this afternoon, the developer explained: “We are very excited about the extra performance available with PS4 Pro and have already been investigating what it could provide for F1 2016.

“As soon as we have something concrete to announce we will share it will the community.”

As well as providing enhanced visuals for upcoming titles, PS4 Pro also lets developers update their existing games to take advantage of the console’s additional power. Titles confirmed to have Pro patches in the works so far include Deux Ex: Mankind Divided, The Last of Us Remastered, Uncharted 4, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and InFamous: First Light.

PS4 Pro launches November 10 priced £349.99. Pre-order the PS4 Pro now from Amazon(?)
