Nippon Ichi has spilled the beans on its new horror-adventure game Closed Nightmare, confirming the game will be heading to PlayStation 4 this year.

The game has been strutting its stuff in Japanese gaming publications (via PSLS) this week, with details now trickling onto the web. We now know the game plonks you in the shoes of heroine Maria Kamishiro, who is suffering from some form of amnesia and wakes up to find her left hand mysteriously paralysed. She’s then forced to participate in a barmy experiment concocted by a chap named Chizuru.

Closed Nightmare is split into four distinct aspects, namely Movie, Text, Exploration, and Gimmick. The game is currently pencilled in for release in Japan on July 19, although right now there’s no word on a western launch.
