CD Projekt Red has released more details and a trailer for its upcoming The Witcher themed Witchercon event itâs holding with Netflix this July.
The event itself will be streamed over two days, and cover both the games and the Netflix live-action series starring Henry Cavill, Freya Allan and Anya Charlotra. All three stars will be at the event, as well as executive producer Lauren Schmidt Hissrich.
As well as the Netflix series, the games will also get their own focus. Various members of the CD Projekt Red development team have also been confirmed for the show, including head of studio Adam Badowski. Theyâll be sharing insight into the development of all three games in the series, and weâre promised âexclusive first looks and surprisesâ too.
One thing we sadly wonât be seeing at the show is a new game, with the studio confirming as such on the eventâs official website. Nevertheless, weâre also set to get more information on the upcoming Nightmare of the Wolf Anime, and the spin-off Blood Origin series currently in production at Netflix.
Witchercon will take place on July 9 at 6pm UK time and July 10 at 2am on the Twitch & Youtube channels of CD Prokjekt Red and Netflix. Itâs also worth bearing in mind the company say both streams will feature âunique, exclusive content you wonât want to miss.â Check out the trailer for the event below. The Witcher Season Two is set to premiere on Netflix later this year, and we wouldnât be surprised if an exact date will be announced at the event.
