Capcom has unveiled Resident Evil 6 stat tracking and community portal Resident Evil.net.
Think Battle.net or Bungie.net and you are on the right lines. Expect to track game stats, Mercenaries scores and compare them with what your friends have done.
You’ll be able to send out a tweet if you manage to beat a target score, and smartphone apps are said to be coming too.
RE.net will also host online events and challenges, offering RE points as rewards. These points can be spent to unlock a host of things, including player costumes.
Resident Evil 6 will be released October 2.
