Call of Duty: WWII’s upcoming expansion The Resistance is almost with us, and publisher Activision’s decided — for reasons that elude our humble minds — to release a new live-action trailer to celebrate. This latest effort follows a group of buddies as they attempt to form their own modern-day resistance, and it’s about as cringe-worthy as you’d expect.

Don’t let that put you off though; The Resistance DLC itself is shaping up to be a pretty meaty affair, offering a wealth of new content for the Sledgehammer Games-developed shooter. For starters, there’s a bunch of new maps to tuck into, a fresh war mission, plus the Nazi Zombies outing, The Darkest Hour.

PS4 owners will be first in line to get their mitts on the expansion, which arrives on January 30. However, PC and Xbox One players will have to wait a bit longer as a result of Sony and Activision’s timed-exclusivity love child.

Elsewhere, those of you looking forward to the next slice of ranked play in Call of Duty: WWII should check out the latest info drop from Sledgehammer on season two. In case you missed it, WWII was recently named the best-selling video game of 2017 in the US. Who’d have thought it?Â
