The PC multiplayer beta for Call of Duty: WWII begins on September 29, and it’s bringing a number of features that’ll please PC players. Players will be able to play in 4K, dabble with FOV sliders, remap keys and even play on their ultra-wide monitors. It’s looking like the best PC version of COD in many years. The game’s developer Sledgehammer revealed the PC beta’s minimum and recommended specs last night, and also detailed what players can expect from the multiplayer beta.

The beta will also have the same content that was featured in the recent console betas, but it’s the PC specs that look most interesting. As well as all the wonderful features mentioned above, the frame-rate can be capped manually— for the record, the framerate can go up to 250fps. That’s a whole lotta frames per second.

Players will be able to play on four multiplayer maps: Point Du Hoc, Ardennes, Aachen and Gibraltar. The beta also includes a new game mode that’s part of the new War Mode called Operation Breakout. Four of the fan favourite modes also make an appearance with Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed and Hardpoint all making a return in Call of Duty: World War 2. There’ll be five divisions (or classes) to play with — Infantry, Expeditionary, Airborne, Armored, and Mountain Division — and a progression level cap of 35.

Players will be able to remap the mouse and keyboard however they like, and there’ll also be support for controllers, although aim assist will be disabled.

There are some more graphical features such as HDR support, and multi-monitor support, but these won’t be in the beta and instead will come to the game at launch.

Call of Duty: WWII is due for release on November 3 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
