The reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has leaked online ahead of its official unveiling later today.

The trailer is scheduled to go live at 18:00 BST this evening (June 8th), and you can see it here:

Ahead of this reveal, however, eighteen seconds of the trailer have made their blurry way online. I shan’t put it here, because it seems silly to, what with the reveal only being a couple of hours away. It’s out there, though, and it features blurry men with blurry guns.

Modern Warfare 2 has been a leaky ship of late. Last month, there were leaks of its gameplay, featuring the nifty new ability to ogle your own weapon. And also leaks of a new mode, entitled DMZ, and of several of the upcoming game’s maps.

Then, only a couple of weeks back, there was a leak of the new Warzone map. Which is big, and features a large body of water, because Modern Warfare 2 will apparently feature the return of the swimming mechanic.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is scheduled for release on October 28th, for all the PlayStations and Xboxes you would expect, and, of course, on PC. Activision revealed the release date by painting onto the side of a large ship, and then bringing that ship into the Port of Long Beach, Los Angeles. Madness.
