Activision and Treyarch have polished off a new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 trailer at Gamescom this week, offering a glance at the military shooter's Arsenal map (via PST).

The footage clocks in at just over 12 minutes and features gameplay from Black Ops 4's Hardpoint mode. I'm sure a hardcore CoD fan would say that there's a lot of tactical play going on in the video, but to me it just looks like a bunch of men shooting at each other and getting lucky.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is due out on October 12 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.

Treyarch will be hosting a beta for the game's Blackout mode in early September, with PS4 getting first taste of the action followed shortly afterwards by other formats.

Unlike previous Call of Duty titles, this latest series entry has given the boot to a traditional single-player campaign in favour of an all-out multiplayer suite.
