Activision has revealed the first details on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s 4-player co-op mode Exo Survival.
Similar to Modern Warfare 3’s Spec Ops Survival, Exo Survival sees 4 players fending off incoming waves of enemies, with tougher enemies spawning as the match goes on.
The first footage of Exo Survival is shown in a brand new trailer for Advanced Warfare (below) released last night.
Sledgehammer co-founder Glen Schofield, however, says that there’s far more to Exo Survival than the footage suggests, adding that he is “proud” of what the studio has achieved with the new mode.
“Guys, Exo Survival is so much more than MW3,” he said in response to fans on Twitter. “Give it a chance. A short clip doesn’t do it justice. Its so much fun, quality & its unique.”
“I’m proud of this mode,” he later added. “Its pure adrenaline. Fast, persistent, new Armory upgrades. Fighting mechs, & crazy waves.
Expect more on Exo Survival in the run up to the game’s launch on November 4.
