The bonus multiplayer map included with Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s limited editions is a re-imagination of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’s Pipeline map, Activision has revealed.

The re-imagined map, renamed ‘Atlas Gorge’, has been relocated to central China for Advanced Warfare, where players will fight for control over the world’s largest power source, the Three Gorges Dam.

The original map (pictured above) was based in Ukraine.

“Combatants will navigate the shadows and control a map-based turret scorestreak that overlooks the dam and helps to keep enemies at bay, all while leveraging new abilities and tactics enabled by exoskeleton technology, such as vertical combat, new sightlines, and strategic vantage points,” says Activision.

Atlas Gorge is one of the bonuses included with Advanced Warfare’s three limited editions, alongside an array of other exclusive content. Activision has yet to confirm whether the map will be released to other players at a later date.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer will be revealed for the first time on August 11, with the game’s release following on November 4.
