Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare players will be able to earn Double XP all weekend, Sledgehammer has announced.
The Double XP event starts at 5pm GMT today and runs all the way through to 5pm Monday night, with two new multiplayer playlists also being introduced to help mix up online play.
‘Hardcore Mosh Pit’ sees players face off in a mix of Team Deathmatch, Domination, Kill Confirmed and Search and Destroy, but with the same limited HUD, decreased health and friendly fire options usually found in Hardcore.
Meanwhile ‘Comeback 24/7’ sees multiplayer map Comeback permanently rotated across Team Deathmatch, Uplink, Kill Confirmed, Domination and more.
The Double XP event comes ahead of the game’s first DLC pack ‘Havoc’, which arrives on Xbox One and Xbox 360 next Tuesday, January 27.
