With first-person shooter Halo: Reach nearing its September 14 launch, developer Bungie is putting the final touches into the game.
But that hasn’t stopped the Seattle-based studio from implementing some exciting last-minute features.
One of them involves “vehicles vs. biped physics”, creative director Marcus Lehto revealed on the Halo: Reach developer blog.
“We are still having fun with last minute “fixes” (which some could argue are really new features – shhh, don’t tell Harold, our CEO),” Lehto said.
“For instance, I just came in today and met with our campaign design lead, Chris Opdahl, and he showed me something he and the engineers cooked up yesterday with vehicles vs. biped physics that I’ve been begging to see happen since I started Halo1 back in late 90s.
“I won’t spoil the fun by telling you what it is, but needless to say, it will make you a very happy player to finally see this.”
What could it be? Who knows? But we can’t wait to find out.
