Bluepoint Games has chosen not to deny reports that it is developing the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall, telling VideoGamer.com that while it has multiple projects in development, it cannot comment on specific titles.

Rumours of Bluepoint’s involvement with the project first surfaced online two weeks ago, following an alleged tweet from industry insider Pete Dodd.

Reference to the project later appeared on Bluepoint’s Wikipedia page.

But in a statement provided to VideoGamer.com, a Bluepoint representative said: “We are currently working on a couple of projects, but unfortunately we can’t comment on anything at the moment.”

Curiously, the developer also confirmed that it is aware of the entry on its Wikipedia, which begs the question: if the listing is false, why hasn’t it been removed?

Neither Respawn or EA have yet confirmed the name of the developer behind the Xbox 360 port of Titanfall, despite the game being due to release alongside the Xbox One and PC versions on March 14.

Nevertheless the mystery developer is said to have been “hand picked” by Respawn for the job.

Bluepoint has created a name for itself developing HD ports of classic PS2 titles. The developer has previously handled PS3 titles God of War Collection, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection.

It also developed the PlayStation Vita port of Sony mascot mash-up PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale and PS4/PS Vita ports of Flower.

Respawn and EA had not returned VideoGamer.com’s request for comment at the time of writing.
