Bloodborne will have a New Game Plus mode, From Software has confirmed, alleviating concerns that the developer may be leaving the popular Souls mode out of the upcoming PS4 game.
“Yes. There will be a New Game Plus mode,” director Hidetaka Miyazaki confirmed to MCV. “We’re having trouble beating it, though.”
In From Software’s earlier Souls games, New Game Plus allowed players to carry over their gear into a new game to face harder enemies after defeating the final boss.
It isn’t yet clear how many levels of New Game Plus will be available, though.
Bloodborne launches on PS4 on March 27.
