SCEE has announced Bloodborne: Game of the Year Edition, a new boxed release containing the game and next month’s DLC in a single package.

Available on PS4 from November 25, the GOTY Edition includes the original game plus the upcoming expansion pack ‘The Old Hunters’, which introduces brand new environments, weapons and the ability to “transform into terrifying beasts”.

The GOTY Edition arrives in stores one day after The Old Hunters on November 24. The DLC is due to cost £11.99, although a price for the GOTY Edition has yet to be confirmed.

Bloodborne is one of the few games that may even live up to its Game of the Year label, too, having scored a perfect 10/10 in our review earlier this year.

“It is Dark Souls 3 in all but name,” said our reviewer. “There’ll be times when you feel genuinely lost, frustrated and unsure of your next step. But you will carry on, you will beat it, and when you do, there’s no other game that can make you feel more elated about doing so.”
