Blockbuster will open more than 450 stores at midnight for the launch of Black Ops 2 on November 13, a new record for the company.
“Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is the most anticipated game of the year and pre-orders are rising every day,” said James Morton, Blockbuster’s head of games.
“We’re thrilled to have the largest number of stores we’ve ever had participating in a midnight opening so that wherever you are in the UK, there’s a local Blockbuster that will be open.”
Pre-order Black Ops 2 from Blockbuster and you’ll also receive 2012 action movie Act of Valour on DVD or Blu-ray for free.
Blockbuster’s midnight openings follows confirmation from GAME that it will open 319 stores at midnight.
