Publisher Devolver Digital has announced that co-operative dungeon crawler Blightbound is out today on PC and consoles.

The game sees you and up to two other friends taking on the abominations of the Blight. Picking one of three roles—warrior, assassin or mage—you’ll venture down from your upgradable mountain refuge and fight a range of mystical enemies. Along the way, you’ll earn loot and fulfil bounties, and increase the abilities of your heroes.

Despite the three main archetypes, you’ll be able to rescue more heroes on your adventure with over 20 to collect. Each has a different skillset, a unique passive ability and a fully narrated story to complete. There’s over 100 items to loot and craft and three hand crafted dungeon environments in which to undertake your quest. Furthermore the game supports both local and online multiplayer to let you play with friends both near and far.

Blightbound is made by Ronimo Games, who were previously responsible for the 2012 side-scrolling MOBA Awesomenauts. The game was first announced with a reveal trailer back in May of last year and launched into early access by July on PC.
