The Call of Duty franchise is continuing to double down on the unusual range of cosmetics appearing within Black Ops 6 and Warzone. Following Treyarch reaffirming its position on criticism surrounding the presence of skins that wouldn’t necessarily belong on the real-world battlefield.

The launch of Season 2 has introduced a wealth of new content for players to get their teeth stuck into. Ranging from new weaponry to a new zombie map with a challenging boss fight, there’s something for everyone loading into the action. Alongside this, Treyarch has unveiled a new bundle that transforms you into a virtual streamer.

Black Ops 6 adding streaming-inspired blueprint

Arriving during the second season is the Tracer Pack: Killer Content Mastercraft which features the Stream Team weapon blueprint.

Those who wish to purchase the bundle can inspect the Cypher 091 to see a hidden screen displaying a chat that looks almost identical to the ones you see on Twitch broadcasts. Alongside the stream chat, there are also four additional boxes telling players to subscribe to their non-existent channels.

It’s not just the random stream chat appearing on this particular weapon blueprint. The pink-and-white aesthetic enables players to stand out from the crowd. While those with the blueprint will certainly stand out, the bright colours are much easier to see making them vulnerable to being eliminated more often than normal.

Where are the realistic skins?

Black Ops 6’s Killer Content hasn’t arrived to the in-game store just yet but its appearance has already got fans talking. The lack of realistic cosmetics continues to divide players and a blueprint inspired by the world of streaming is only going to increase the divide even further.

Costing 2,400 CoD Points, the bundle is going to be one of the more expensive offerings. Ultimately, it comes down to personal preference as to whether you want to add it to your collection or give it a miss in favour of other skins and camos.
